What makes it difficult to let go of addictions (relational addictions, alcohol, sex, drugs etc.) it’s called dopamine or happiness hormone.
What is dopamine?
Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps control the reward and pleasure centers of the brain. It is responsible for your happiness, but also for motivation and focus. People who are prone to addictions, there is a clear imbalance in the dopamine levels. This ensures that people fall back into relationships that give more pain and grief than joy and happiness
Dopamine is not continuously released, but it is expelled when you do things that the brain requires to reward, such as exercise, nutrition, sex and being in love. The release of dopamine produces a wave of pleasure. The pleasant feeling you get makes you want to repeat the dopamine-inducing behavior. Things that give an immediate reward have a greater value for the brain than things that you have with in the long term.
Many people become addicted because it gives them some kind of instant gratification such as drugs, alcohol, sex, pornography, shopping or impulsive eating. Our brains are fortunately able to suppress behavior. With addicts, however, this function is somewhat weakened. Dopamine show moments of happiness. By healthy food, healthy thoughts, happy thoughts you will come into balance
Balance in your dopamine levels is crucial.
When we stop an addiction or let go of a destructive relationship, our brains are still looking for these dopamine levels. Fortunately, dopamine can be increased in a natural way!
Support yourself in the choices you make and stop criticizing yourself.
How can you keep your Dopamine level in balance?
Start adjusting nutrition. Listen carefully to your body, which food gives a heavy feeling and drains your energy and which food makes me feel vital?
Too much sugar drains your energy.
We are vegetarian. We replace milk with Oat, Almond or Rice milk. There is also vegan cheese which is very tasty and you don’t have such a full belly afterwards.
I really recommend you to reduce or even bether to stop with meat, meat takes 24 hours to digest in your stomach and it takes too much energy from your body.
Anika is a vegetarian since she was a little girl, I (Michéle) for a couple of years now. I had my ups and downs and there were multiple periods when I had stopped and occasionally started fish again, but once I really started to see how the animals and fish are treated and realized that you are eating the fear of the animal and that those fear vibrations end up in your body and then also amplify your emotions with fear, (Anika told me this for years but i was not ready at that time) then one day I was done with eating meat and fish. Finally the moment was there. Those innocent animals that are killed because we have been made to believe that we should eat meat because society and the system promote it we have been taught to make sacrifices.
It is an intensive earnings model for murder of living loving beings who are innocent who need us for protection and not to be eaten but to keep the love alive in our hearts.
Understand that this business model is maintained so that human beings do not get their spiritual enlightenment because the fear vibrations hold you in a lower consciousness.
I think eating meat is cannibalism and outdated. There are so many wonderful delicious alternatives, meat and fish is really no longer necessary.
When I stopped, I also saw that my skin started to shine a lot more and that I feel much more vital and I stay in my Good vibes much better. I also love every living being on earth, I will not be the one anymore who is going to decide to kill an animal, a life that is originated from god. The government does that, they are as hard as stones they don’t have feelings and love emotions if you can decide about people’s lives, I don’t want to think about what’s the worth of animals for them…exactly…nothing.
Go and think about it, I am not saying you should do it but give it a try and you will feel the differences, you can get closer to your heart. Think of the sweet animals, those sweet cows and pigs, what harm are they doing to you? And then you eat them? A saying from earlier times that I sometimes heard; “Yes but then there will be to much animals on earth and then they will eat us”!? Yes, right, the meat industry is one of the biggest earning models in the world and you don’t even want to think about what hormones they inject into those poor animals and you eat that too.
Do you think it’s crazy that everyone has some kind of ailment?
Try meat instead of 7 days a week to 2 days a week.
You also need to be well aware of your acidity. Your PH value also called Alkaline.
Many ailments can be solved by means of a healthy acidity such as: allergies, depression, overweight, inflammation, etc. You can get acidity strips at the pharmacy and you can test yourself. I also advise you to go to an Ayurveda doctor, Ayurveda is an ancient Indian wisdom which also has to do with nutrition to a large extent. Do a test on google for free to see which Energy is out of balance for you. You have, Kapha, Vata and Pitta the three dosha’s (basic powers)
